We define our organization as a Co-ed Professional Engineering Fraternity. The words professional and engineering are strong foundations for the motives and actions of our Fraternity.
As studying Engineers, it is vitally important that we prepare for our future careers. Theta Tau was founded as a common establishment among Engineering students. The network of students and alumni spreads far across the nation. As a Chapter, we promote professional development among our members. We can achieve this through several enhancing activities. We host workshops on crucial skills needed in the field. Factory and plant tours allow first hand exposure to a variety of careers. We also establish relationships with area professionals and companies to provide support to not only our members, but also the College of Engineering. A display of this can be seen with our biannual Professional Development BBQ which showcases College organizations and local engineering companies. The ultimate purpose of your college experience is to be successful in life, and Theta Tau is here to help in the best ways possible.
