Why I became an engineer?
I have always loved science and figuring out how things work. However, engineering was not my first choice. I started off as a Biomedical Sciences Major, with the intent of applying to medical school as soon as I was within the last semester of obtaining my Bachelor's Degree. While I was hacking away at the Biomedical Sciences Degree, I started talking to a lot of my friends who were in Engineering and I began to get really interested in that line of study instead. After doing some researching, and then some soul searching, I decided to make the switch to Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. These fields of engineering have opened many more doors to new and exciting career opportunities that I otherwise would not have had.

My favorite thing about Theta Tau?
I love how everyone is one big family. There are always people who you trust and can go to, through anything that is going on in your life. Knowing that you have people with you, who support you, and are going through the same types of things that you are is a really great feeling.

Sporting and Outdoor activities?
I love to run, sit at the park and paint or study, do yoga, kayak, and rock climb. I honestly just love any activity that is outside.

Hobbies:
I really enjoy learning. If it did not take a lifetime to do, I would stay in college until I was able to learn almost everything that USF has to offer. Besides school, I enjoy any type of dancing (especially tap dancing), making art of any kind, laughing, having fun, and being random.

If I wasn't an engineer, I would pursue...
If I wasn't an engineer I would probably be pursuing a degree in chemistry, or the biomedical sciences, or maybe even a double major dance too.
