Why I became an engineer?
I became an engineer because I have always loved math and the sciences. I have always enjoyed puzzles and challenges. When deciding that I wanted to pursue Chemical Engineering, I also wanted to make sure that I was choosing a stable career that I could count on to support me throughout my life. With my Chemical Engineering degree, I want to be able to improve people’s lives by making products and processes more beneficial.
My favorite thing about Theta Tau?
My favorite thing about Theta Tau is the close brotherhood that its members share. I enjoy knowing that I can always confide in the brothers and my fellow pledge class. As a whole, brotherhood will prompt me to be a better person as well as help me develop professionally.
Sporting and Outdoor activities?
My favorite outdoor activity is going to the beach. I also enjoy camping and going out on boats. I used to be on a volleyball team and I like playing tennis just for fun even though I am not very good at it. When it is cooler outside, I really like to walk on nature trails.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, my favorite thing to do is playing my violin. I have been playing for 8 years and have taken private lessons for 5 of those years. When I am not playing my violin, I can often be found playing video games or reading. I love playing any Legend of Zelda or Kingdom Hearts game and my favorite series of books is Harry Potter. I also love going to the movies, mall, or Busch Gardens with my friends
If I wasn't an engineer, I would pursue...
If had not decided to major in Chemical Engineering, I would have chosen to study forensics or music performance.
