Why I became an engineer?
I feel like I can be successful at anything I put my mind to. I'm a quick learner and enjoy being in leadership positions. My biggest "pet peeve" is when I see someone who isn't completely applying themselves. This is probably one reason I enjoy being an Engineering student. To be a good Engineering student, you have to apply yourself completely.
My favorite thing about Theta Tau?
My favorite thing about Theta Tau?
I really enjoy being involved with people who are similar to myself. It's always been hard to find people I enjoy being around for extended periods of time. It's not common to find an organization of entertaining, honorable, and intelligent people. In Theta Tau, I have all three of these qualities surrounding me constantly.
Sporting and Outdoor activities?
I love being outside when it's not miserably hot or humid; so being in Florida, I'm usually inside. I enjoy most sports but have always had a passion for my High School Wrestling Team. Other sports are alright, but wrestling is by far the best. Unfortunately, most people don't know enough about wrestling to truely enjoy watching a match.
Hobbies:
I enjoy many random hobbies. I've always enjoyed music, playing and listening to it. What Engineer doesn't love technology and/or video games? I like spending time with friends and going to wrestling tournaments. Right now school and Theta Tau are taking up the majority of my time.
If I wasn't an engineer, I would pursue...
When I first entered the college world I wanted to pursue my passions in Music and Wrestling. I wanted to either be a musician, or a High School teacher (so I could go back to my High School and be an assistant coach). I felt that both of these paths would eventually leave me feeling unaccomplished. I wanted to pursue something I would enjoy and that would make me feel like I had really accomplished something worth while. When I decided on Engineering and began to get involved in the Engineering world I felt some excitement and let it carry me further. Now I'm a Civil Major with a lot of interested in Mechanical.
